GERMAN COMIC CON DORTMUND

Location / Opening Hours

Messe Dortmund, Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund

The admission will take place via the new admission forum NORD.
There will be separate queuing systems for DAY TICKETS, WEEKEND TICKETS, VIPS and EARLY ENTRY Tickets.

ATTENTION: We extended our opening hours and are celebrating the Doc Brown Hour!
Saturday, December 7th 2019 from 8:00 am (Early Entry) / 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sunday, December 8th 2019 from 8:00 am (Early Entry) / 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

VIP ticket holders and Early Entry tickets have access to the event from 8 am.
All visitors with a normal day ticket or a weekend ticket have access from 9 o’clock.

Important Information

VIP TICKET OWNERS will receive a wristband at the entrance. This wristband has to be worn the entire weekend. If the wristband is cut off on Saturday night, access to the convention will be denied on Sunday.

The VIP ticket holders will receive their vouchers and goodies directly at the entrance upon entering the hall.

Weekend tickets are scanned on both days Saturday and Sunday at the entrance.

Access & Parking

Please check in advance whether other events take place parallel on the weekend and keep this in mind for your travel planning. We generally advise you to arrive early.

Arriving by car
Direct connection through the B1 (A40) to the highways A / A45 / A2 / A42 / B1 (A44). Please follow the signs to Dortmund and pay attention to the WESTFALENHALLEN DORTMUND signs on the motorways. If you are using a navigation device, enter the destination address “Rheinlanddamm 200” or the special destination “Westfalenhallen”. From the destination address just follow the signs in the vicinity.

ATTENTION: ENVIRONMENTAL ZONE IN DORTMUND
The city of Dortmund has introduced a new environmental zone on January 1st 2012. This covers large parts of the city area, including the grounds of the Westfalenhallen. Driving in this environmental zone requires an environmental badge.

Access by public transport
With the subway lines U45 (direction Westfalenhallen) or U46 (direction Westfalenhallen) to stop “Westfalenhallen”. Alternatively U42 (direction Hombruch) to stop “Theodor-Fliedner-Heim”.

Parking
The Westfalenhallen are easily accessible by road and have ample parking. Parking is chargeable. If you arrive by car we recommend the car parks A4, A3, A2 and A8.
Here you will find alternative Park & ​​Ride parking in the city area.

Tickets & Box office

Admission tickets, VIP tickets, photo shoot tickets and autograph tickets are available in our online shop.
If the ticket contingent is not exhausted by the time of the event, there will be a box office in the admission tent at the new admission forum NORD. Tickets are usually 5.00 EUR more expensive on site than in presale.

Children 0-5: Free entry accompanied by a guardian.
Children 6-12: discounted children’s tickets accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Proof of age must be presented if necessary.

If the parent has an EARLY ENTRY ticket, the child may enter the event earlier with a standard ticket.

Pretty Little Liars meets German Comic Con: Rosewood Reunion Upgrade Ticket

We will again have a separated themed area for the tv show Pretty Little Liars at German Comic Con: The Rosewood Reunion Area!
Here you can be really close to your star in an intimate atmosphere. See them on stage in Panels, take Double- & Group Shoots with them and be with them in Meet & Greets.

Autograph Seassions und Single Shoots
Autograph sessions and Single Photo Shoots will occur (as all other German Comic Con Photo Shoots and Autograph Session) at our German Comic Con Photo Shoot Area and Signing area. To attend a single shoot or the autograph session you need a German Comic Con entrance ticket (Daypass, Weekendpass, VIP Pass) and a Photo Shoot or Autograph ticket.

Group Shoots, Panels und Meet & Greets
Group Shoots, Panels and Meet & Greets will take place in the ROSEWOOD REUNION Area. You need a German Comic Con entrance ticket (Daypass, Weekendpass, VIP Pass) plus the matching upgrade ticket. If you’d like to attend a Meet & Greet or a Group Shoot, you will need a ticket for that additional.
But of course you don’t need to buy a M&G or Group shoot ticket, to enter this area with your upgrade ticket. If you just would like to enjoy the panels, this will be fine as well!

Riverdale meets German Comic Con: Pop’s Area Upgrade Ticket

we will have another separated themed area. This are will be for the tv show Riverdale at German Comic Con: The Pop’s Area!
Here you can be really close to your star in an intimate atmosphere. See them on stage in Panels, take Double- & Group Shoots with them and be with them in Meet & Greets.

But of course you don’t need to buy a M&G or Group shoot ticket, to enter this area with your upgrade ticket. If you just would like to enjoy the panels, this will be fine as well!

Children 0-5: Free entry accompanied by a guardian.
Children 6-12: discounted children’s tickets accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Proof of age must be presented if necessary.

LOCATION

Zenith – Die Kulturhalle, Lilienthalallee 29, 80939 Munich

Admission will be via the Zenith. There will be separate queuing systems for DAY TICKETS, WEEKEND TICKETS, VIPS and EARLY ENTRY tickets.

Arriving by car & parking
Unfortunately, there are only limited parking possibilities in and around the area of the Zenith:
TG BMW (next to the MOC)
P+R Fröttmaning
P+R parking garage pine garden

Access by public transport
From Marienplatz travel route U6: U6 direction “Garching-Forschungszentrum” to stop “Kieferngarten”, approx. 5 minutes walk.

From the main train station S-Bahn and U6: Take the S-Bahn to the “Marienplatz” stop, then change to the U6 direction “Garching-Forschungszentrum” to the “Kieferngarten” stop, approx. 5 minutes walk.

Fares: We recommend the use of a day ticket for the price of 12,00 Euro.
The German Comic Con München admission ticket is not valid as a ticket for public transportation. Tickets for U-, S- and trams are available at all MVV vending machines.

Admission will be via HALL 3. There will be separate queuing systems for DAY TICKETS, WEEKEND TICKETS, VIPS and EARLY ENTRY tickets.

Access & Parking

ATTENTION: The BERLIN MARATHON is on Sunday, September 27th 2019. Note that some streets around the location may be closed due to this event. We strongly advise to check the traffic situation in advance and generally advise to arrive early.

Arriving by car
From the city motorway A100 direction Dresden, until exit B96 – Tempelhofer Damm; left to the Tempelhofer Damm; Straight ahead to Mehringdamm. Then turn left onto Hallesches Ufer. Turn left into Schöneberger Str. and then into Luckenwalder Str. The STATION-Berlin is on the right side.

Access by public transport
Subway: Line U1 / U2 to U-Bahn station “Gleisdreieck”, line U1 / U2 to subway station “Möckernbrücke”, approx. 6 min walk.
S-Bahn: Line S1 / S2 / S25 / S26 to S-Bahnhof “Anhalter station”, approx. 8 min walk.
Bus connection: Bus line 248 to “Möckernstraße”, within walking distance (about 8 minutes) is still the S-Bahn station “Anhalter Bahnhof”. The bus M41, for example, stops there.

Entry into the car park Gleisdreieck: Schöneberger Ufer

Opening hours: daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
Exit possible at any time – access via night access

Fares for short-term parking: 1.00 Euro per hour
Day ticket: 10.00 Euro

It is recommended to travel by public transport, as there is only a limited number of parking spaces available.
